General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Mostly it will be essential hypertension. But before labelling it secondary causes of hypertension needs to be ruled out like

- Endocrine causes
- Psychological cause
- Kidney causes
- Cardiac causes et cetera

Life style modification needed, take low salt diet Green leafy vegetables taken more, regular one hour active exercise is useful.

Antihypertensive agent like Amlodipine or Enalapril started for that. Also, consult the physician for examination and get prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
