What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels While On Candesartan Cilexetil?
BP spike? Second day after changing from Ramipril 1.25 because of the cough keeping me awake at nights to Candesartan cilexitil 2mg BP on Ramipril averaging around 125/80 but last couple of measured levels are 157/96 and 169/98. I m 70 female and overweight at 88kilos and 5feet 5 ins

The dose which your taking may not sufficient to control blood pressure. Please take low salt diet, do regular exercise, take green leafy vegetables. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine change the dose according to your blood pressure.
