General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be due to a local or trivial infection somewhere in the body. Generally, it will return to normal in four to five days.

You can reaped the count after two weeks. If it is persistently elevated, you can go for a bone marrow examination to rule out Hematological causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
