What Causes Elevated BP Levels In Spite Of Taking Olmezest And Cilacar?

Hi, Am 27 year old male. My blood pressure was high 158/90 so doctor prescribed me to take omlezest h 40 and cilacar 10 mg but my blood pressure is still high ie 150 /80. No secondary causes all the other tests are okay and I smoke and excerise as well. What to do now?

I have read and understood your query
I hope this will help
You are having uncontrolled hypertension.. At present you are taking 2 drugs..I am not pretty sure about efficacy of CILACAR..but you should not worry that much at the moment as we have alot of drugs available in market to help control your blood pressure..
I will advise you to change CILACAR to. AMLODIPINE 10MG AT BED TIME and tab OLMEZEST 40MG in morning.. I hope your BP control will get better.. If things don't improve much consult a cardiologist and discuss with Him about addition of another drug and I think adding a DIURETIC like hydrochlorothiazide should be the next choice..
Mean while follow good dietry salt restriction and try to lose weight if you are overweight and keep your exercise routine..
