What Causes Electrical Charge Sensation In Abdomen Radiating Towards Shoulder?

Experienced strange sensation today for the first time ever. Occurred three times about 3-4 hours apart, like an electrical charge, slight burning. Originating in abdomen it travels rapidly upward to below shoulder area and dissipates. No more than a second, no pain, heaviness, or ache in heart/chest area. If one could draw a graphic of it, would be like a quick lightening bolt.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having hypera-cidity producing this type of sensation.
At the same time some coronary ailment should be ruled out.
Go for EKG to rule out any cardiac problem like coronary insufficiency.
Meanwhile take Omeprazole one tablet stat.
Even if you feel better, go for EKG.
Ok and take care.
