General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The early periods after unprotected sex not related to sex, but rather intake of Emergency contraceptive pill as Unwanted 72 or else. It is the mechanism of such pill to induce menses within 24 to 48 hours of intake as part of physiology. The bleeding subsides over a period of 3-4 days and hence if it is there beyond a period of that, consult your OBGYN for further guidance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
