Hi,There is a swelling on the soft portion of my ear. Sometime it looks like a boil and I have squeezed it but sometimes its like a normal blister. But when I touch the soft portion it hurts a lot. It gets cured on its own but again comes back.No idea whom to consult and why it is happening ? Please help!!!
Your history is suggestive of one of the following: - Cystic one wherein the internal lining is active and secretes fluid - Pseudo-cyst, meaning there is no true secretory lining (For example the skin gets separated from the underlying cartilage and the fluid thus secreted can cause similar swelling), this appears particularly on ear pinna
I would advise you to consult an ENT Surgeon as he is experienced in such cases and can tell you clinically what the swelling is about. May prescribe you medicines or can advise surgery if needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
