What Causes Dry Flaky Skin On The Forehead And Cheeks?

hello I have been experiencing on my forhead down beside my eyes and my cheeks what appears to be dry flaky skin but I am also noticing on my left cheek that I am beginning to see very small veins in the spot that is constanly flaking even with trying coconut oil and cetaphil lotion.

hi mam, as per your symptoms, the probable diagnoses are :
1)ludwig’s angina : its an infection characterised by abscess below the tongue.poor dental hygiene, any oral trauma are some of the causes.surgical drainage is necessary in most of the cases along with antibiotics.
2)dental abscess : drainage is not necessary in most of the cases.
surgical drainage is of course a modality with an excellent outcome.recurrent drainage is needed when the infection is persistent or due to incomplete treatment with antibiotics.broadspectrum antibiotics that cover gram negative bacteria and anaerobes are helpful to prevent recurrences.so, you may discuss the same with the ENT specialist at your next visit.hope my explanation clarifies your doubt.any other clarifications you expect from my side, please let me know.its my pleasure to be of any help to you.thank you.take care.bye.
