What Causes Dry And Itchy Cough Along With Watery Eyes?

hi for the last 2months I have had a dry itchy cough on one side of my throat that makes me gag and vomit. it is not constant and I never know when it will happen. my eyes water and I lose my voice. it happens mostly at night. 40 year old female. high blood pressure and indoor/outdoor allergies

Hi.

It does sound to me like a picture you would experience with an allergy, so I would recommend a visit to your doctor for management. What you can also try is to use anti-histamines to see if they help. Along with this, also try to keep away from all that is at home, like your clothes, acessories, shampoo, soaps, detergents, perfumes, deodorants, etc; and stay over at a friend or relatives place for a few nights to see if you still experience all that you have been experiencing every night. If you do not, then the cause could be something in your house which we will have to find and rule out.
