What Causes Drop In Body Temperature After Falling Down?
my boyfriend fell off a ladder approx. 6ft I called 911 they checked him out his vitals were normal nothing appeared wrong he wouldn t go to er. he has been extremely sore I ve been taking his temp about every hr. it is dropping currently is 96.4. should I be concerned?
Hi, It depends ,wether he has got somehidden injury?I would like to ask that is there any swelling or history of unconsciouness after falling. If he is thoroughly examined by Physician to rule out any injury?Since body temprature can fall in case of hypotention or infection, but did any Physician suggest you to check his body temprature every hour?Since with history of fall ,it needs to be seen in person by a doctor ,then it can be ruled out ,what cause could be ? I would suggest you get checked him again by a physician to rule out any hidden injury. Regards, DR.Maheshwari
