What Causes Drastic Weight Loss Post A Cholecystectomy?

I had the Whipple procedure 2-15, no cancer but a spot of something and the doctor knew it was benign before surgery. Problem is nausea is a 24/7 problem, sometimes vomiting, I take zofran which is more theraputic I think than effective, but so frustrated. I am 77, was very active, working, but had to retire in Sept following surgery. I ve lost 35 lbs in past few years, fight to stay up to 100 lbs. I blame the surgery!!! In 10/ 2012, I had gall bladder surgery and that s when I started losing weight too. Then a few weeks ago I saw on TV an ad about Benicar and Azor causing stomach problems. I had severe vomiting after gall bladder surgery. I took Benicar for some years, then heart doctor changed me to Azor which I took until 9-15 when I retired and went on a less expensive med. I blame doctors and drug companies for my horrible health!!
