I have severe phimosis, open is no bigger than 2mm. Paain while urinating. Painful to touch head of penis, like there is an infection under the foreskin. Blood seeps from between foreskin and glans. I have no health insurance. I m too poor to afford the visit to hospital. And I make to much money for government aid. I have no sex life, so, scaring is of no issue. Seeking advice on self surgery. I m wanting to cut off about 3mm of scar skin that has grow up and around closing off the head. There are some blood vessels visible in this area. What risks are there and what precautions do I need to take to perform this? I have trauma clotting bandages, antibacterial ointments and many other gauze pads to soak up blood and apply pressure after the cut. Would I need to use a catheter after I cut off the skin or just make sure I am very clean in the area?
