General & Family Physician 's  Response
Mostly this is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo causing dizziness. Its cause is unknown. Symptoms recur repeatedly. Or it might be due to cervical spondylitis.
Advice
1.     Take bed rest for few days if fresh attack occurs
2.     Cinnarizine (tablet Vertigon) 25 mg every 8 hours orally on fresh onset of dizziness until subsidence of symptoms
3.     Betahistine (tablet Vertin) 8 mg every 8 hours orally on fresh onset of dizziness until subsidence of symptoms
Thanks
