What Causes Dizziness While On Diltiazem, Hydralazine And Losartan?

Hi, I am currently taking four meds for a combination of heart problems. They are Diltiazem, hydralazine, metoprolol and Losartan. currently my heart rate has dropped to between 40 and 45 bpm and is causing some slight dizziness and energy problems. Could this be caused by this combination of drugs? I am under the care of my MD and Cardiologist and am scheduled for a bypass surgery. No, I have not ever had a verified heart attack. I was just wondering why the heart rate has recently dropped to such an extent from a slightly higher norm of around 56 bpm.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should definitely consult your cardiologist as it indicated to reduce the dosage of one or more of your medicines. Considering your pending surgery, the cardiologist and possibly the cardiac surgeon should be consulted.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
