What Causes Dizziness While Having Stents In The Heart?

I just had another episode of feeling like I was going to pass out when I laid back in my recliner. I felt like I was falling in a deep hole. My wife wants me to see a Doctor. I am 67 yrs old , I have two stents in my heart veins done about 15 yrs ago ,but otherwise in good health.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Dizziness commonly occurs due to a temporary drop of BP, postural hypotension, narrowing of the valve, syncope due to abnormal heart function.

You are suggested to get a follow up cardiac check-up done. Visit your cardiologist, get all blood tests, ECG, x-ray, blood test & Imaging tests done.

Your treatment will depend upon any pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
