What Causes Dizziness Post Lower Teeth Extraction?

I had 3 lower teeth extracted last Thursday, 2 of which were the wisdom teeth. I have not taken any pain relief pills after Monday. Today is Weds, and for the past couple of days I have had extreme dizziness. I am wondering if this is an infection in my inner ear resulting from the extraction? I took antibiotics for 3 days but quit early, should I have kept taking them?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, it would have been best, if possible to continue the antibiotics. If you were having a reaction or side effects from those antibiotics then your dentist could have given another course.

It is possible that an infection is the cause of the dizziness. It would be best to go to your doctor for review.

I hope this helps
