Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my son who is 29 years of age, has had dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. He s had that since he was a young boy. Usually he is sick for a couple of days. Nothing has been able to help him and of course it impacts work as he s unable to do anything. There are no certain thing that brings this on. He is getting this more often, it seems like about every month to 6 weeks. He needs help.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Recurrent nausea, vomiting, dizziness in young patient should be evaluated for brainstorm related pathology. So better to take him to neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI of brain. If this is normal then no need to worry much. Sometimes undiagnosed stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms. So take him to psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in his life and start working on its solution. He may need anxiolytic and anti depressant drugs. Don't worry, he will be alright but first rule out brain pathology. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
