General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Brown discharge can be a normal side effect of hormonal birth control, such as Nexplanon. Still, it's always a good idea to consult a healthcare provider if experiencing any unusual symptoms. Dizziness, nausea, and headaches can be related to hormonal changes from birth control. Still, they can also be symptoms of other conditions, such as a vaginal or urinary tract infection. So, it's essential to seek medical attention to determine the cause and receive proper treatment if necessary.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
