What Causes Dizziness, Fatigue And Tingling Sensation In The Arms?

I took a friend to the emergency room on Saturday. She has symptoms of light-headedness, numbness, tiredness, and tingling/pain which has spread all over--arms, legs, feet, hands, lips, etc. The ER doctor did tests and found nothing except low calcium. She has seen her regular doctor. Today, I went up to her house because she was afraid to get out of the car for fear of fainting. Any ideas of what her regular doctor should check for or if she needs to see a specialist?

Hi,

Regarding your concern, I would explain that low calcium levels could mimic this clinical situation.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with her attending physician and checking thyroid hormone levels and vitamin D plasma levels for a possible deficiency.

It is also necessary to closely monitor her blood pressure values.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
