What Causes Dizziness, Fainting, And Tingling In Hands While On Thyroxine?

My 16 year old daughter takes 50mg of thyroxine and today she had an incident where she felt dizzy and faint,in fact she fell against a wall and complained that she could not get herself up again, she tingly feelings in her hands, she was pale and clammy. After the incident she felt weak and slept for most of the day. Some one suggested that she had a hypo with her thyroxine do you think this is correct?

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi dear user
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Most of your daughter symptoms are symptoms of hypothyroidism.
My advice is to consult an endocrinologist because it is necessary to to the thyroid tests TSH, freeT3 and freeT4 to understand the actual thyroid function and to do the necessary dose adjustment accordingly.

Hope my information is helpful for you.
If you have other questions,i will be happy to help.
Wish you good health.
