What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting While Suffering From An Arachnoid Cyst?

I have a 6.5 cm arachnoid cyst with recent symptoms of head spins dizziness when still vomiting and massive headaches. Today my head feels like there is massive pressure from behind ears and back of my head. Can the cyst rupture without drastic symptoms and I not realise

Hi,

Surely yes, the large arachnoid cyst can cause symptoms of headache, vomiting and dizziness by increasing intracranial pressure.
And this can be diagnosed by the following ways:
Consult a Neurosurgeon for immediate clinical evaluation and fresh MRI along with other essential investigations to decide the cause of your symptoms so that appropriate management can be done.
As per your query, the cyst is not known to rupture as such.
So no worry in that respect.
There can be other reasons for similar symptoms which can be detected only by Doctors hence rush to the ER/your Doctor or a Neurosurgeon.
Do not treat at home on your own.
