What Causes Dizziness And Vertigo While Having Sinus Infection?

On 3/6/2007 I got a bad sinus infection and ear discomfort which included being dizzy like vertigo. I have been to 2 ENT doctors......the first gave me drops which did nothing......the second is having me take a hearing test which came out normal and in 2 days a vestibular test..........I also stopped producing wax as of 3.6 which I have always had in my ears but I always clear my ears so as not to have wax build up. i am concerned that I can have a serious condition such as a brain whatever...........thank you for your time ...sincerely........Phyllis

Hi,

Sinus infection may cause congestion of nose and ear causes to negative pressure in ear lead to giddiness and tinnitus. So avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Levocetrizine and Moterleukast once a day for five days.

Use Ottrivin nasal spray thrice a day for five days. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
