What Causes Dizziness And Sudden Jolt Sensation?

I was sitting at the kitchen table talking when I felt a sudden jolt sensation in the back of my head near the base and I felt an overwhelming sense of fainting and whiting out spread over to the front of my head. I was dizzy for a couple of hours after and am still light headed. I have eaten plenty of healthy foods, I don t smoke and am not overweight. My blood vessels in my hands and feet sometimes burst, so I thought maybe a vessel in my head may have burst as well? Should I be concerned?

Hello,

After such symptoms, a subarachnoidal hemorrhage is suspected. It may happen from a rupture of small vessels but also from a ruptured aneurysm.

So, it is necessary to get evaluated by a Neurologist and by brain imaging.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
