What Causes Dizziness And Spinning Sensation?
I have been suffering from dizzy spells and the room starts spinning. they episodes last from 1/2 to 2 or 3 hours. I went to my medical doctor who referred me to specialist who confirm its not vertigo. Now I have to go for a balance test to confirm its not vertigo. He also wants me to get a brain scan. what could this all mean.

Discussion:- Non specific symptoms could be likely and this could be due to functional elements try to come out of this, else this is nothing to worry.
Medication:- Tab Betahistine 8 mg three times in day on tentative basis.
Advise:- Have some bed rest.
Comments:- You have not mentioned your age and gender else something could have been thought.
