What Causes Dizziness And Pain In The Left Shoulder?
i have been working on my truck for the last week, doing the suspension and all the bolts were very tight and rusted. I put alot of effort into breaking them loose and in very awkward positions..my left shoulder blade and back, and all over have been hurting, for the last few days i have been really dizzy and light headed.. any clues? i was thinking maybe a pinched nerve and was thinking of going to a chiropractor..should i? thanx
If the pain is associated with some numbness or strange sensation in the shoulder or down on the arm or hand it may be due to a pinched nerve.
If no sensory symptoms (numbness or strange sensation) then it is less likely it is due to a pinched nerve but the muscular pain is more likely.
In both cases, the pinched nerve or muscular pain the treatment is generally the same: take some ibuprofen 600 mg after food 3-4 times a day and try to rest.
If no improvement in 3-4 days or any worsening you will need to see a medical care provider (chiropractor or physiotherapist) which will try to identify the problem and give you proper exercises to release the muscle tension or the tension on the nerve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
