I am a 62 yr. old woman with HBP. I take Celebrex, Prevacid,levothyroxin,estrodiol,medrox.,hydrococone,temazepan and less than half of a melatonin, and the HBP med Metoprolol Tart 100 MG tab. 2 X d. My blood pressure was still up to the 180's and over 200 . After adding Lisinopril and hydrochlorithyazide I experienced dizziness, nausea and hallucinations . I related this to my doctor and asked her if there was something else I could take . She said " there is nothing else " . I see on line this doesn't seem to be the case and I wonder if there was a communication prob. What can I do ? My dentist refuses to do any work on me until my B P is down . During the day after eating beets my B. P was 140's and low 150's . After activity of driving a 30 mile distance and running errands my B.P was 225/140 . I live at an alt. of ten thousand ft. and have for some time . Could the alt. cause the prob. with my increased age ? Thank you for any help you may give, L.
