Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have what i refer to as episodes. where my face and neck become extremely red and I will become dizzy and have extreme pain in various parts of my head. it may be once every few months that it occurs but now I have had 3 in one week. They last for a few hours. Went to the er cat scan came back ok he says something is going on he just doesn t know what. He said I should see an endocrinologist. I am 37 years old and have 2 children that i want to see grow up. I never complain and have been experiencing this off and on for a few years. I am scared or I would have never went to the hospital in the first place. It doesn t feel normal and it has been hours and it is still going on.
Probably you may be suffering from angioneurotic oedema or pheochromocytoma Cystoma or neuroendocrine tumours etc. It may be an allergy to environmental pollutants or allergens etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your physician/endocrinologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Penchila Prasad Kandikattu , Internal Medicine Specialist
