What Causes Dizziness And Fatigue While On Gabapentin, Metformin And Clonidine?

I am a 60 yr old female. I am on several medications: gabapentin (800 mg 4x/day) and clonidine HCL 0.1 mg 2x/day, and Cymbalta 60 mg 1x/day all for PTSD; 2 blood pressure medications (Hydralazine 50 mg 3x/day and Linisopril HCTZ 20-25 mg 1x/day; Lasix 20 mg 1x/day, and the newest prescription with the last week, Metformin HCL 500 mg 2x/day for weight loss (My BMI is 33). Today I have been feeling unusually foggy; misspelling words (I m a full-time student online and studying, taking notes) and tired. Usually, I m task oriented and on-point.

Hello,

Dizziness and fatigue are likely due to the combination of medications you are taking(especially clonidine with the other antihypertensives) leading to decreased blood pressure.

Serial blood pressure measurement and evaluation for orthostatic hypotension should be done and the dosage of medications need to be reconsidered at this point.
