Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Dizziness Along With Visual Disturbances?
Occasionally I awaken to find myself experiencing significant dizziness accompanied by the inability to fix my eyes in one spot. The visual disturbance is short lived, however, the dizziness can persist 3 to 5 hours. Inner ear evaluation revealed nothing. On the most recent event I experienced mild nausea for about 2 days.
I've read your query and understanding your concern.
I would like to tell you that your symptoms are suggestive of two conditions , either vestibular disorder or neuroptic disorder .
If you are done with ear checkup then must personally consult in neuroptic department for proper checkup. There are some condition of brain that can effect vision and causes dizziness and nausea kind of symptoms. Personally see a MD neurologist and get yourself evaluated.
Hopefully I answered all your queries. Wish you Good Luck
