Last night I was in bed reading, on my left side. I turned over onto my right side, and suddenly felt kind of light-headed or dizzy. It scared me, I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to tell my husband. I felt just a little dizzy, it wasn t severe. I used his BP monitor to check my BP and pulse, and it was 126/78 which is high for me; my BP is always more like 108/64. Pulse was up, too, to 78. (It s usually more like 60-65.) I think they were up because I was scared and nervous; 15 minutes later, when the dizziness had passed, BP and heart rate were down to normal. I went on to have a good night s sleep, and have felt great all day, walked 3 miles, did my yoga. So what the heck was that?
