my 11 yr old daughter has been on concerta xr for 5 yrs and had dose increase roughly 1 month ago to 72 mg, from 54mg. She also take .75mg of risperdol per day (and has been taking x 7 yrs). Since increase in concerta dose she has getting more spells of near disorientation and excessively sleepy, with appetite change, she simply isn t herself and has breath of most diabetics. I have begun checking her blood sugar before bed and it is has of late been in 70 s and off in the mornings as well. She has a long family history of diabetes
