Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Discomfort On The Right Side Of The Body?
I have a very uncomfortable feeling branching from my foot and basically up the entire right side of my body. It is especially bothersome in the right side of m hip and my right ankle. I feel the need to consistently crack my hip and ankle in order to make the uncomfortable sensation leave but it never really does. I also have compressional fractures and degenerative disc disease in my spine - T9 & T10. I don t know if this could effect the area but this provides me it s own issues as well. I believe my Sartorius muscle could be the cause of this sensation but... I am no doctor.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. As you said, you have multiple compressions in the spine, then you may be suffering from compressive neuropathy.
Please consult your neurophysician / orthopedician, they will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
