What Causes Discomfort On Back Despite Taking Advil?

I was helping lift a heavy bed Sunday and popped my back. I am taking three 200 mg Advil daily...have been icing during the day and heat during the night. Cannot sleep on my left side or right side. I do have rare pain on left leg. I can get around for about an hour. Then I need to sit. Should I use a back brace? How long will it take to heal? I want to walk outdoors,I m worried I shouldn t. I was foolish to help lift this bed.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, healing is the kind of process ant it may takes some time moreover it is all depends upon the damaged done or the nature of injury, you have to weight at least couple of weeks till then bed rest is must, you can use the brace too, hope this information helps.
