What Causes Discomfort In The Lungs After Exposure To Dust?
My husband is having trouble with his lungs here in the AZ desert. Wind and dust. He takes singulair, combivent and twisthalers as well as albuterol nebulizer treatments for occasional asthma and beginning stages of COPD. (He has never smoked just worked in the woods and helped on fires) We are wondering about Valley Fever or some other spore in the desert?

What Causes Discomfort In The Lungs After Exposure To Dust?
Hello, It could be atopic asthma arising out of allergy to the dust particle. Continue current line of management. If symptoms persists better to consult a pulmonologist and he might require additional bronchodilators also. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
