What Causes Discomfort In The Left Eye After Taking Ibuprofen?

Hello following cataract surgery last year, I got posterior vitreous detachment in R eye. All checked by ophthalmologists at UC Med - no retinal tear. Suddenly, yesterday, I got same symptoms on L eye, which was done earlier - sudden dropping down of hair like bunches , tadpoles, etc, and now newsprint dots. I had taken 600 miligrams of Ibuprofen a couple of times recently, and one about 2 hours before this event. I am wondering if this could have been the cause. Doreen OH I see charges of course, very reasonable. But I don t think I d better dive into this right now, as I just came across it by chance. I will see my ophthalmologist next week. Thank you - sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

It is not related to Ibuprofen.

If symptoms persist, you can consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
