What Causes Discomfort And Left-sided Pain Under Ribcage?

I just would like to ask a question about my left side under my ribcage. It s been feeling weird lately, like I can t necesarily explain how it feels but it almost hurts/pushing feeling, sometimes I get a strange pain under my rib cage when I am sitting or laying down. What do I do to stop this? Do you have any idea?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain may be related to any structure in a particular area from the skin inwards.
The pain may be related to the ribs or may be related to the skin, muscles and other soft tissue.

It is possible that the muscles, other soft tissue or ribs were bruised or more seriously damaged due to direct or indirect trauma.
If you have tried using pain medication with no effect then it would be best to see your doctor for an assessment which may include an xray.

I hope this helps
