Dr.,This is a 19 year old girl, a medical student from Kolkata .I qm pretty much overweight by 20 kgs. For the past 4-5days I have been noticing some amount of discomfort in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. The region feels heavy. I consulted a doctor in college and he suggested that I go for a full abdomen USG. It is only then he shall be able to diagnose the condition. But I am in the mid of my 1st professional Examination which shall not end before the end of this month . Therefore immediate USG wouldn t be a possibility. it would be kind of you if you could give a rough estimate as to what all could have happened and what precautions I must take in order prevent it from aggravating further till I go for the USG and a proper treatment.
