What Causes Discomfort After IUD Placement?

Hello, I will start off by saying I had a baby 6 months ago and had the Paragaurd Iud inserted 4 months ago. Ever since then I have experienced some discomfort. Around two days ago I noticed a piece of flesh hanging from me that was sensitive and burned. This morning I started to bleed, but does not look like period blood. More like something that comes from your nose. I m feeling slight pressure and throbbing pain.

Hi I think you can be having some vaginal infection. It may be due to IUD or may be due to some other reason. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
