What Causes Discharge Of Red-colored Mucus And Liquid With Ammonia Smell?

My period due date was 4 July but it happen early on 16 June till now at initial it was bleeding heavy with clots but from last 7 days only mucous with red colour is coming out with no clot in between bleeding got stop for 2 days only but a transparent liquid with ammonia smell come out in the morning . On 7 July I have done two test HCG 1.20 and sonography with endometrial thick 16.7mm and I am also feeling some thing is there inside cervix. Please guide me

Hello,

The endometrium is very thick in your case and this may explain the heavy bleeding. I would recommend you to follow the instructions of your doctor when it comes to further tests and investigations to identify the reason for such thickening and further treatment.

Probably the doctor will order a D&C, which consists of removing the thick endometrium and sending it for biopsy.
