What Causes Difficulty Urinating Along With White Layers In Urine?

Hi I am currently suffering from prostatitus and have difficulty urinating, I have also noticed a thin white layer in my urine, I have also got a history of kidney stones ....presently I am not sure if my difficulty urinating is the sign of a kidney stone or just my swollen prostate...

Thanks for query.

You have been diagnosed to have Prostatitis .

Difficulty in urination is ostly due to infection

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
