What Causes Difficulty In Urination And Diarrhea After Stent Placement?
My name is Howard: I had three stents put in on my right artery. on medicines of coarse. but having a hard time urinating. it feels like i have an urgent need to gon, only not be able to urinate. Had diarrhea now for two 2 days. What is normal for urination after procedures? Why the Diarrhea? Why the urgent need to pee, but can t? Medicine I am on are: Atorvastatin- Today doctors office said to refrain from taking it til first appointment Friday Carvedilol- Lisinopril asprin Clopidogrel
Yes, difficult urination may be a result of various issues but most common are urinary stones and uro-infection. The right cause should be can be proved by cystoscopy, but before this I would suggest to do kidneys ultrasound to rule out possible urinary stones which may cause your symptoms. Last cause, is so called neurogenic bladder which is consequence of certain neurological diseases and it is usually treated with specific medications.
