What Causes Difficulty In Urinating?

Can a dropped uterus have an affect on urinating? I seem to have a more difficult time urinating..ie. like I don t feel that I have eliminated fully and and feel like I urgently have to go about every 1/2 hour. I use to wear a pessary but I decided to give it up because I am 82 years old and i started bleeding from the use of the pessary.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Prolapsed uterus can cause urinary obstruction. The dropped uterus compress your bladder and cause difficulty in urinating. Consult a uro gynecologist and get evaluated. You can continue the pessary. Frequently change the pessary to avoid bleeding.
Wishing you good health.
