What Causes Difficulty In Urinating?

My husband who is 53 feels as though he has to urinate really bad and then when he gets to the toilet he s unable to go a lot. He gets in the shower most of the time to urinate because he has to shake his penis to go a little and it goes all over. He feels like it stops at the tip. He is taking 2 Flomax 4 mg/daily. He had an exam about 2 mo. ago and the doctor thought maybe his Prostate but it s getting much worse.
