What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing?

Its hard for me to swallow. The glands (on either side of my neck under my jaw) hurt when touched. I do not believe it is strep, because I have had strep in the past (it does NOT feel like pins and needles when I swallow). Otherwise I feel pretty good.
