Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband started eating a sandwich at work today and couldn t swallow it. He choked and through it back up. He continued to through up and choke even on liquid. This was hours ago and he is still very gaggy and can t even keep liquid s down. He is describing to me like he s having trouble swallowing his saliva. He said he has a feeling like there is something still stuck. He can breathe and speak etc. Is it possible he strained the muscle in his throat? If he sets still it seems to be ok but he can t eat or drink anything.
