What Causes Difficulty In Controlling Bladder?

Hi is this normal? My body is unable to detect when needing the toilet until it is about to come out. I have to run to the nearest WC as soon as possible and if i try my best to hold it in i get extreme pains. I have had this for as long as i can remember.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I thin you have urinary incontinence.
Consult the urologist and undergo specific investigations for proper treatment.
Following are the causes of your problem:
Urinary tract infection, Constipation, Obstruction of the urinary tract by stone and tumour, Excesssive Alcohol and caffine use, Artificial sweetners and corn syrup, Blood pressor medication, Intake of food high in sugars, Neurological disorder: parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis and brain tumour, steroid intake

Risk factor are obesity , diabetes melitus, neurological disorder.

Consult the urologist and do the following test:
1. Urine analysis
2. Blood sugars
3. Blood urea, creatinine, PSA
4. Clinical examination and measurement of blood pressor and heart rate
5. Cystoscopy
6. Cystogram
7. Pelvic examination
6. CBC, ESR

Following are the advice:
1. Bladder training exercise
2. Double voiding technique
3. Scheduled toilet every 3-4 hours
4. Reduce fluid intake and take more solid fluid
5. Avoid alcohol and caffeine
6. Pelvic floor exercise
B. drugs
1. Anticholinergic- Oxybutynin and tamsulosin
2. Mirabegran
C. Medical device
You can put urethral insert if not response to drugs and behavior technique.
D. Last option is surgery is problem is severe
1. Bladder neck obstruction
2. Artificial urinary sphincter
