Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Difficulty In Conceiving While On Clomid?
HELLO, PLEASE I DONT KNOW WHY CLOMID IS NOT WORKING FOR ME , I HAD TOOK IT TWINCE NOTHING COME OUT, MO OBGYN SAID I SHOULD BE PATIENT HE DID A BLOOD WORK FOR ME IN OTHER TO KNOW WHEALTHER THE MEDICATION IS WORKING IN MY SYSTEM. AND TOLD ME AFTER THE TEST THAT EVERYTHINGS IS OKAY, BUT I HAVE NOT GET PREGNANCY.
I would like to offer some information on induction of ovulation and the results.
Firstly, it is a time-taking process and patience is very much necessary. Secondly, proper prior assessment helps in yielding quicker and better results. Thirdly, the dosage of Clomiphene is stepped up gradually until ovulation is achieved for a maximum of six cycles. Ovulation is monitored and sexual intercourse is timed accordingly.
So, I would ask you to follow your doctor's advice, be patient, practice regular intercourse during ovulation and see the result.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam,
OBGYN
