What Causes Difficulty In Blinking Eyes With Formation Of Yellow Crusts?
My son has eye drops for his eyes but I cannot find them. He keeps hard blinking they re not read I think it might be allergies or dirt he has a little bit of yellow crusties . He s two and a half am I able to use any kind of Visine irritated eye drops just for over the weekend until I can get a hold of his doctor on Monday?
According to the findings you describe, although allergy would most likely be the cause, we should also consider an infection as a lesser possibility. It would be advisable to know which kind of drops was your son using, in order to have more information. In any case, it's not advisable to use Visine drops at all, as these are drops that are commonly used to decrease the red eyes (vasoconstrict the blood vessels), and are usually not prescribed by Ophthalmologists. It would be better to use any lubricant eye drops, which are available over the counter (without a prescription) in any pharmacy. As you correctly mentioned, a follow up with his Ophthalmologist should be done on Monday.
