This isnt something i do intentionaly my body just does it randomly, This can last up to 6-8 weeks at a time, i am highly fit and it can worsen when i am playing reugby league or in the ring for my professional boxing. wake up one day and it will be gone, i havehad an ECG test done as well as the running treadmill test, Xrays, ultrasounds, everything comes back fine with my heart lungs etc, When im suffereing from this i also can not finish a yawn properly which is so frustrating. do you have any ideas

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Since your cardiac work up is normal, no need to worry for cardiac cause.
I advice you to consult pulmonologist and get done PFT ( Pulmonary Function Test ).
As possibility of bronchitis is high in your case.
So PFT is necessary for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
This will also tell you about severity of the disease.
And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
So get done PFT and rule out bronchitis.
