What Causes Difficulty Breathing While Doing Physical Activities?

I have asthma and I also have afeb. I m confused on why my breathing has been a problem lately. I have an inhaler which in the past 20 years I only ever used 1 inhaler a year. Now I am using it at least 1 time a day or several times a day. I can be sleeping and it wakes me up or sometimes going up the stairs is will set it off but not all the time. I ride my bike, sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not. Today I starting getting it and now I am sitting down it has eased up but still have it. I guess I am trying to determine if it is heart or asthma.

the most likely, it is asthma, we do have exercise induced asthma.Exercise induced asthma should be properly evaluated with detailed history, physical examination, heart functions and lung functions such as spirometry as well. You may need bronchodilators with inhaled corticosteroids.some patients may respond well with pre treatment of short acting beta agonist such as albuterol.you need further investigations before we end up in your final diagnosis.
